Apartment prices rose by 3.2% over the quarter and by 5.3% year on year (index 386). House prices rose by 4.3% over the quarter and by 6.8% year on year (index 336).
The release notes regional differences: apartment prices declined slightly in the cities of Tartu and Pärnu and in the areas bordering Tallinn, while they rose in Tallinn and in the rest of the country. The value of transactions with existing apartments grew, mainly because of deals outside Tallinn, whereas transactions in Tallinn declined.
